| UT3 Warfare Top players of america v europe (4171 reads) |
|
Quoted from clanbase.
"At 8pm GMT on Saturday the 16th of February, America and Europe will duke it out in an epic 28 man battle of Unreal Tournament 3 Warfare. On 24th of feb euroes come across to american land to duke it out once more.
This match is the first of two legs, and will see the maps Downtown and Floodgate played. There will be live video and audio coverage of the match provided by E-Rev.tv and Video on Demand will be provided at unreal.multiplay.co.uk.
Behind the game are two two community sites for Unreal Tournament 3. For Europe, it is Just Warfare who also run a very successful Warfare pickup, which you can find at #mpukunreal.warfare. For the Americans, it is ZeroFrag. Both sides will be bringing significant firepower, with Europe bringing players from the top three teams in the ClanBase Warfare ladder; Single Lava Twilights, Military Intelligence Dept. 5 and Desire 2 Fire.
This landmark event is being made possible by Multiplay, who are providing the servers for the match. "
Should be a good laugh and I am looking forward to playing in it. I thought I let you guys know, ven though hardly any of you made the move to UT3. Should be a fun insite into how warfare is supposed to be played (even though its 14v14 and doesnt entirely show the 5v5 - 6v6 competitive play style). Come have a gander you might enjoy it . Its not entirely top players as this is mostly for fun rather than a competition. Its more in aid of promoting the mode.

| Summer 2007 AS Mixer (3120 reads) |
|
First off, I should make this clear, the mixer is centralisted in europe, but we will try to deal with North America pings via UTcomp.
It's been a year since a very successful mixer last summer, and I want to carry the trend for what we hope to be the last time in UT2004 (not the first time weve hoped xD).
We don't care who you are, where you're from or how good you are UT wise, anyone as welcome as long as they own a copy of UT, a comp, an internet connection and know how to use our bloody forum.
For those who don't know a mixer is a tournament where random players register and are placed in teams with strangers, while keeping the teams fair at the same time.
We currently have 31 registrations at the time of this post, and teams are placed at 3v3, but if we can reach the 50 mark, there will be 10 teams of 5 players. As our cousins in the UT2004 community I would be pleased to see some people from this forum register. If you have any questions reply to this thread or in the Mixer forum and I will try to answer as soon as possible.
Without further delay, here is the link : http://z7.invisionfree.com/asmixer/
Registrations end July 2nd , teams drawn by July 8th, with matches being played over the summer months.
Hope to see you there, and TY for your time.

| UGS Tour 2007 (3819 reads) |
|
Our second stop on our tour, JC Media finds themselves in Richmond, Virginia, the capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia. This southern city was once the capital of the south, and was home to many of our forefathers including Thomas Jefferson. Virgina's historic events include Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death" speech in 1775. A city with so much history with our country, will soon be the battlegrounds for the future of console gaming.
After setting the bar for professional console gaming in Memphis, JC Media will prove once again why we are the ONLY complete gaming service provider. Giving away over $5,000 in cash and prizes, hundreds of gamers from all over the country will be flying, driving, walking, crawling -doing anything they possibly can to attend UGS Richmond !!! In the kick off event for the UGS, champions were born, ego's were crushed, but that all doesn't matter anymore because its time to prove it once more.

| Surprise for Team 1 and Team 7! (3412 reads) |
|
Mr. Anonymous v2.0 would like to congratulate all of the participants in the mixer, and hopes everyone had fun. He would also, in a gesture of goodwill, like to give the 2 teams that had potential but never truly realized it the main prize, as this was a community game and not just a pro competition. These teams are Teams 1 and 7. Congratulations to these two teams and everyone that participated.
For those that played at least two (2) matches, Mr. Anonymous v2.0 will be giving a $20 gift certificate with their choice of Amazon, NewEgg, or iTunes.
If you are one of those people please send me a PM with your email address and which company you would like to cash in on. I'll get the info to the anonymous source and you'll get your warez in short order. Again, on behalf of Mr. Anon v2.0, we hope you *all* had a great time, not just the people who made it out of the divisional action.
