UT3 Warfare Top players of america v europe

"At 8pm GMT on Saturday the 16th of February, America and Europe will duke it out in an epic 28 man battle of Unreal Tournament 3 Warfare. On 24th of feb euroes come across to american land to duke it out once more.

This match is the first of two legs, and will see the maps Downtown and Floodgate played. There will be live video and audio coverage of the match provided by E-Rev.tv and Video on Demand will be provided at unreal.multiplay.co.uk.

Behind the game are two two community sites for Unreal Tournament 3. For Europe, it is Just Warfare who also run a very successful Warfare pickup, which you can find at #mpukunreal.warfare. For the Americans, it is ZeroFrag. Both sides will be bringing significant firepower, with Europe bringing players from the top three teams in the ClanBase Warfare ladder; Single Lava Twilights, Military Intelligence Dept. 5 and Desire 2 Fire.

This landmark event is being made possible by Multiplay, who are providing the servers for the match. "

Should be a good laugh and I am looking forward to playing in it. I thought I let you guys know, ven though hardly any of you made the move to UT3. Should be a fun insite into how warfare is supposed to be played (even though its 14v14 and doesnt entirely show the 5v5 - 6v6 competitive play style). Come have a gander you might enjoy it Smile

. Its not entirely top players as this is mostly for fun rather than a competition. Its more in aid of promoting the mode.

Its no assault, but SLT are having some fun on clanbase with it Smile

ONS put me to sleep in 2k4, I doubt WAR will be much of a change. I will check it out if I am at home though.

Both 3v3 and 6v6 only have 2 teams, none of which have even played a game. I was only counting teams on ladders and there aren't any other active NA warfare ladders that I know of.

well the match was a big success, everyone showed up and there was some brillaint coverage and commentery to go with it. I think you can download it all, i will get links if anyone is interested. Due to ping europe won pretty easily even tho on floodnode americas got a bit of damage on our core. Anyway next week its our turn to play with 150+ pings so it will probably be opposite in scores that time around.

There must be a ladder somehwere as the american teams had alot of claned people in and seemed like they played in clan matches. shrugs. will get those links.

I just watched it and even though at the beginning there were a fair few tehcnical difficulties the coverage was brilliant to say the least. Apparently we got 564 viewers, which is extremily good. Great stuff very impressed with the coverage.

P.s be sure to tune into this saturdays match when we play on americna servers. So expect you're boys to trounce us
